Miss South Dakota Carrie Wintle’s Trunk Show was held Sunday at the Huron Country Club, where she modeled gowns she will wear during the upcoming Miss America Pageant Sept. 5-9 in Atlantic City. The Trunk Show included talent presentations by Wintle and other South Dakota crown holders. Former Miss South Dakota Callee Bauman Wachter hosted the event, which included an auction and gift basket drawings. Other crown holders performing were Miss Railroad Junction Cameron Schroeder, Miss Sioux Falls Elizabeth Hofer, Miss Rolling Plains Annie Woodmansey, Miss Railroad Junction’s Outstanding Teen Laney Titze, and former Miss South Dakota winners Miranda Mack, Kaitlin O’Neill and Bauman Wachter.
