Beadle County Democrats have donated 1,500 servings of ramen noodles to the local backpack program, a supplemental weekend food program sponsored, in part, by United Way Heartland Region. Shown are Rhonda Kludt, United Way executive director, and Bill Broucek, representing Beadle County Democrats. Elementary school students in Huron, Wolsey-Wessington and Iroquois, as well as Head Start, are served by the backpack program.
