HURON — The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau would like to thank the sponsors and participants of the Mission Possible Shop Huron & Win Campaign.
“We had over 10,000 total entries representing $771,731 in receipts submitted by more than 250 people during our five-week campaign,” said Laurie Shelton, President/CEO of the Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau. “The dollar amount is more than double that which was submitted last year, plus the promotion only lasted half as long as the previous one, which definitely shows that it was a very successful campaign.”
Michael Held of Huron was the winner of the $1,000 grand prize. The winning receipt was from Coborns in the amount of $269. Held was grateful to receive the prize and says, “the shop local promotions are an outstanding opportunity for the businesses of Huron and by encouraging people to shop in town they also generate revenue for our community.”
