The South Dakota 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl took place Tuesday afternoon at the Nordby Exhibit Hall on the State Fairgrounds. Seven junior team and seven senior teams competed in a tournament style quiz bowl, with the winning team earning a trip to the Western Nationals in Denver, Colo. Team Beadle County and Hughes/Stanley, pictured above on the left, won its second round of the competition. Team members are Danci Dunkelberger, Hannah Moeding and William Meyer of Beadle County, and Emma Mesnan of Hughes/Stanley. The quiz bowl was part of the State 4-H Horse Show, which continues today on the state fairgrounds.
