South Dakota 4-Hers spent some of their time at the SD State Fair making tie blankets to donate to patients at Huron Regional Medical Center. The project was a kick off to a statewide community service project entitled “Blanket Buddy.” The blankets will be given to patients in need of a little extra comfort during their hospital stay.
Receiving the 20 tie blankets on behalf of HRMC were (from left) Jake Lyngass, physician assistant, Pat Woolridge, RN, emergency room director, and Chessa Boomsma, RN. Also pictured is Sydney Hoffman, State 4-H Secretary.
