HURON — The South Dakota State Fair announced on Tuesday that Gary Allan with Sawyer Brown will join the grandstand concert lineup on Sunday, Sept. 2.
With the allure of a modern-day outlaw, Gary Allan has won over fans, peers and critics with his signature blend of smoldering vocals, rebellious lyrics and raucous live performances. While becoming a force on the country music scene, Allan has remained true to his artistic voice each step of the way.
With hits like “Every Storm Runs Out Of Rain,” “Man to Man” and “Tough Little Boys,” Allan has been topping the country radio charts with fourteen Top 10 hits and eight million albums sold. The California native released his first album, Used Heart for Sale, in 1996, and has been drawing crowds ever since. He continues to sell out venues as a headliner from coast to coast.
“There is a lot of energy and excitement around the fair this year, and the announcement of Gary Allan will keep that going,” said State Fairgrounds manager, Peggy Besch. “We’re excited to welcome him to the stage to celebrate 100 years of the S.D. State Fair Grandstand.”
