PIERRE — The South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) released information on two telephone town hall events taking place next week for state residents to provide input regarding medical cannabis.
The town halls will both take place on Monday, June 28, with the first at 5 p.m. and the second taking place at 6:30 p.m.
The intention is for the DOH to get public input as the department prepares to release rules for implementation of Initiated Measure 26, which officially goes into effect on July 1. The DOH has been tasked with creating the guidelines for many aspects of IM-26, and interested state residents can provide the department with input during these town hall events.
All those intending to participate must pre-register at the following link: https://tthm.wufoo.com/forms/medical-cannabis-public-input-session-signup/
