HURON — Sue E. Ringheimer, 63, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 2,  at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron with internment in Restlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a time of sharing beginning at 7 p.m. today at the Welter Funeral Home or visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Sue was born September 18, 1953, in Leesville, Louisiana to Donald Sr. and Betty (Dethlefs) Henson. They moved to Huron in 1957. She graduated Huron High School in 1971, and graduated from Northwest College of Commerce with an Associate’s Degree in Business.
She worked in property management and health care, and for the Huron School District and Huron Mall where she retired in 2017.
She married the love of her life, Robert Ringheimer, in October 1986. Sue enjoyed spending all her time outdoors. She loved her prized rose bushes and gardening, canning anything she could get her hands on, and making salads. She also loved spending time with her children and their families. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her husband whom she cherished.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Robert; her four children, Dawn (William) Eining III of Huron, Shannon (Bonnie) Hofer of Hendricks, Minn., Kimberly (Jeff) White of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Misti Hofer of Huron, two stepchildren, Shane (Rhonda) Ringheimer, and Amy (Mike) Hofer both of Huron; 17 dearly loved grandchildren, Kenny Jr (Ariel), Nikalus (Joce), Arizona (Wyatt) and Ashton Busch, Christian, Cora, Caleb, Kolton, Levi and Hawk Hofer, Caitlin (Chris) Houlihan, Tiffany, Tessa and Taylor Santistevan, Lexi White, Landen Eichstadt and Jaycee Hofer-Tschetter along with 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Danny (Judy) Henson of Huron, and Donny (Cheryl) Henson of Missoula Mont.; and two sisters, Terry White, and Lona (Vince) Moser both of Huron; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
She will be greeted in Heaven by both of her parents, Donald and Betty; her grandparents, Daniel and Ruth Dethlefs, and Arno and Jenny Sinke; her uncle, Larry Dethlefs; and her aunt, Lois Wiegele.
