Huron High School’s Quiz Bowl team won the Q107 Radio Quiz Bowl, taking home the $1,000 top prize and bragging rights!
Competition was postponed from Saturday until Monday, when Huron and seven other teams who had emerged from an opening number of 32 teams met in Mitchell to find the champion and Huron mowed through the final three rounds undefeated and took home the title.
Team member Tyson Lien was not able to attend, but coach Lindsey Brewer noted he was an important part of the team qualifying for the finals.
