HURON — Everyone is encouraged to join Prostrollo General Motors and Huron Regional Medical Center today, as they host a one-mile Walk for Breast Cancer Research event at Ravine Lake.
The walk takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., today and participants are encouraged to come and go as schedules allow. Meet at Prostrollo to start and there are snacks available for all entrants. Entry fee is $10 per person, which is earmarked for breast cancer research.
If you wish to participate but cannot make the walk today, stop at Prostrollo any time to have your photo taken in front of the “#1 Drive for...” pink ribbon, with the name of a person who has or has had breast cancer. The photo will be posted and Chevrolet will donate $5 for each photo. You can register for door prizes and a traveling plaque will be awarded to the most supportive local business participating.
