Jones County 41, Sunshine Bible Academy 0
MILLER — The Jones County Coyotes rolled up 457 yards in total offense Friday afternoon, en route to a 41-0 win over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders in high school football action.

Coyote quarterback Kaden Kinsley had a hand in three Jones County touchdowns, as he tossed a 21-yard pass to Matthew Birkeland and a 30-yarder to Coopoer Feddersen to get the Coyotes rolling in the first quarter.

Birkeland rumbled in a 43-yard run in the second quarter and Kinsley scored on a two-yard dive to put Jones county up 26-0 at the halftime break.

The third quarter was scoreless, but in the fourth, Birkeland scored again, this time on a 19-yard run, before Rudy Edwards scored on a one-yard dive.

Birkeland ended with 173 yards on 11 carries and two scores, while Kinsley notched 86 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown. Through the air, Kinsley was 9-18 for 150 yards and the two touchdowns.

SBA had trouble moving the ball, as they carried 26 times for -21 yards.

Quarterback Nolan Triebwasser was 5/15 through the air for 81 yards and an interception.

Triebwasser also had 15 tackles for the Crusaders and Troy Paul added 10.

SBA, now 0-2, is off until Sept. 9 when they tangle with Sully Buttes.
