Miller 3, Sully Buttes 0
MILLER – A three-game sweep moved the Miller Rustlers to 4-0 on the season as they dispatched with the Sully Buttes Chargers by scores of 25-19, 25-10, and 25-10 in Miller.

Ally Mullaney had a big game for the Rustlers with 15 kills on 24 of 28 hitting. Tyra Gates set up the Miller attack with 31 assists on 75 of 77 setting.

Jolie Palmer led the Rustler defense with 19 digs and Ruby Carter was a perfect 7-for-7 serving with three aces.

No individual statistics were available for Sully Buttes, who falls to 2-4.

The Rustlers travel to face Class B top-ranked Warner on Tuesday.

Redfield 3, Deuel 0
REDFIELD – The Redfield Pheasants scored a sweep Thursday at home over the Deuel Cardinals by set scores of 25-7, 25-18, and 25-17.

The Pheasants move to 3-1 behind an impressive all-around match from Gracie Fast. Fast recorded six service aces on 8-of-12 serving, led Redfield with 10 kills on 20 of 22 hitting, and also recorded a pair of blocks.

Camryn Rohlfs keyed the Pheasant attack with 19 assists on 66 of 67 setting and also was 14 of 14 from the service line with a pair of aces.

Josie Andersoen led Deuel (0-4) with five kills.

Redfield swept the JV match 27-25 and 25-18.

The Pheasants are on the road next Thursday to face Sisseton.

Colman-Egan 3, De Smet 0
COLMAN – The fifth-ranked Colman-Egan Hawks had little trouble with the De Smet Bulldogs on the volleyball court Thursday in Colman, sweeping them 25-13, 25-17, and 25-13.

The Hawks move to 3-1 behind 10 kills and three blocks from Brynlee Landis. Landis also served up a pair of aces, as did Kadance Landis.

Lanie Mousel set up the C-E attack with 20 assists.

De Smet was paced by Jada Burke and Hazel Luethmers with six kills apiece.

The Bulldogs take a 2-2 record into a home match Tuesday against Deuel.


Miller 3, Aberdeen Roncalli 1
MILLER – The Miller Rustlers remained unbeaten Tuesday with a 3-1 victory over the Aberdeen Roncalli Lady Cavaliers in Miller.

Set scores for the Rutlers were 25-17, 23-25, 25-17, and 25-15.

Three Miller hitters amassed double-digit kills, led by Ally Mullaney, with 12. Abbi Blake had 11 kills, three blocks and a pair of service aces. Jaden Werdel added 11 kills and 24 digs.

Tyra Gates set up the Rustler offense with 38 assists as the team moved to 3-0. Jolie Palmer spurred the defense with 34 digs.

Aleah Schlecter led the Lady Cavaliers (0-3) with 10 kills.

Roncalli won the JV match 25-23, 10-25, and 15-12.
