HURON — Peggy Besch, who serves as the State Fair Director for the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, is the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Beadle County Democrats.

The meeting will be at Ryan’s Hangar in the Library at 6 p.m., Monday, Nov.2 7. The public is invited to attend this informative presentation.

Besch has led the S.D. State Fair for the past eight years. Prior to that, she spent 23 years with the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau, serving as the president and CEO.

She currently serves on the Greater Huron Development Corporation and is a member of Huron Kiwanis Club.

Besch will provide a State Fair recap and talk about current projects and programing. Her presentation will include a slide show with photos of the improvements being made throughout the Fairgrounds.
