SIOUX FALLS — City of Huron employees were recognized during the S.D. Municipal League annual conference, with Gold and Platinum Level Achievement Awards in Loss Control and Safety.

The conference awards recognize the employees for their efforts in protecting the assets of the city, by ensuring the workplace is safe for employees, reducing the exposure to potential liabilities and saving taxpayers’ dollars through loss control.

Huron was one of 35 entities recognized for its employees’ efforts.

This is the 34th time that Huron has received a Municipal League safety award.
