BISMARCK, N.D. — The Dakota Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to welcome two new appointees to their board.

Lisa Snedeker, a Branch Manager for the Huron-based Dakotaland Federal Credit Union’s Woonsocket branch. She will fill the South Dakota at-large seat; and Shannon Webster, SVP Marketing, Town & Country Credit Union in Minot, N.D., now takes the North Dakota at-large vacancy.

Snedeker has more than 20 years of service in the credit union movement, and has been an involved advocate at her credit union, as well as the chapter.

She has held officer positions on several local boards, including the Woonsocket Development Corporation, Woonsocket School Board, Associated School Boards of SD, and a community daycare.

She is also a volunteer for Junior Achievement, an involved 4-H leader, and youth group leader at her local church.

“I seek opportunities to make the world better and the future brighter,” Lisa stated. “I look forward to using my skills of collaboration, innovation, and leadership to the foundation board,” she added.

Shannon Webster is a previous board member for the Dakota Credit Union Association. She has been a successful marketer for Town & Country since 2012, now holding the title of Senior VP of Marketing. Prior to working at Town & Country, she was the marketing director for the N.D. State Fair. She also has years of volunteer experience with community food pantries, the Minot Chamber of Commerce, local sports commissions, and her local church, and is a previous president of the Minot Young Professionals. “I am looking forward to being more involved with the association’s work once again,” Shannon stated.
