Lindsey McCaskell and Chanda Kolousek of Huron Regional Medical Center demonstrated the use of a defibrillator to the Kiwanis group.
A defibrillator is an apparatus used to control heart fibrillation by application of an electric current to the chest wall or heart. They can save the life of someone in cardiac attest. Today, many defibrillators are in public buildings for emergency care.
McCaskell and Kolousek reviewed how to utilize the devise along with CPR in adults and small children.
