SIOUX FALLS — Huron 13/14U Tigers traveled to Sioux Falls to battle with Sioux Falls Post 15 13/14U and came away with a tie and a victory Monday evening.

In the opener, the home team took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first, but Huron came back with a pair of runs in the second inning as Ryker Shelton and Noah Koops walked to open the inning. Shelton stole third and then scored on a groundout by Sean Janes. Koops moved to third on the groundout after stealing second. A wild pitch then brought Koops home before a strikeout ended the inning.

Post 15 would come back with three runs to take the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Huron would knot the score at four in the sixth and take the lead in the seventh as Martin singled, advanced to third on an error and then scored on a Koops single.

Huron would strikeout to end the inning with runners on second and third.
