To the Editor:

I was involved in a car accident on May 10, and I am so appreciative for the kindness and care I received from the Huron Police Department, the ambulance crew and the neighbors in my area. I am sorry I didn’t get your names, but you know who you are. Thanks to all of you.

Now, with all the political controversy going on, perhaps we should step back and count our blessings. We live in a free country, where you can express your opinions.

I am thankful I live here and in the wonderful, caring, community of Huron.
