Wessington Springs’ Blake Larson shot a two-over par 73 to earn medalist honors for the boys, with Gavin Landmark of Deubrook two strokes back, and Max Kees of De Smet shot 78 for third.

The top 20 and ties for the boys’ qualified for next week’s state tournament in Brookings.

Individuals qualifiers included Ethan Bartholow of James Valley Christian.

Other JVC finishers included Jonah Niederbauer in 23rd place and Skylar Thielbar in 38th. Iroquois/Lake Preston was led by Ben Curd’s 38th place finish.
