HURON — The Huron Tiger tennis team hosted the Rapid City Christian Lady Comets Thursday afternoon at Winter Park Courts.
The visitors snuck out of town with a 6-3 win in the dual, with two of the three Huron victories coming in extended play.
Huron won the fourth, fifth and sixth flight singles matches against the Lady Comets.
Say Glay defeated Monica Whitman 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 4 singles spot to get Huron rolling.
Teammate Paw Kler Moo got the win at No. 5 singles, coming back to defeat Evie Biers 1-6, 6-2, 10-4.
The other Huron win came in the No. 1 doubles match, as AnneClaire Rubish and Elizabeth Heinen came back to oust Katie Palmer and Allision Hill 5-6 (7-9), 6-4, 10-5
Both teams will compete today and Saturday at the 10-team Madison Invitational.
