Warner dominates at Redfield Volleyball Classic

REDFIELD - The Warner Monarchs did not drop a single set in four matches on Saturday to take home the top spot at the Redfield Volleyball Classic in Redfield.
In pool play, Redfield defeated Potter County 25-10 and 25-20 and fell to Belle Fourche 25-20 and 25-19.
Miller swept through pool play with a 25-13 and 25-14 victory over Aberdeen Christian and a 25-14, 25-13 victory over Florence Hencry.
In Gold (championship) pool play, Warner swept Miller 25-16 and 25-12. Miller bounced back to defeat Belle Fourche in three sets, 19-25, 25-17, and 25-18 to claim second place in the tournament.
In the Silver pool, Redfield swept Aberdeen Christian 25-13 and 26-24 before defeating Beresford 25-19 and 25-21 to claim fourth place.
Warner led the all-tournament team with four of the 12 selections.
Jolie Palmer and Kate Lichty were selected from Miller and Katie Rozell and Chloe Zens were picked from Redfield.
Miller (17-4) hosts Mount Vernon/Plankinton Tuesday.
Redfield (8-12) travels Thursday to play Clark/Willow Lake in Willow Lake.
