WATERTOWN The Watertown Arrows boys soccer team scored once in each half, but made it stand up Thursday, as the Arrows took a 2-0 win from the Huron Tigers.
It was a hard battle in Watertown today, said Huron coach Leah Branaugh. They play a very physical game, but I thought we did a nice job keeping up with them and maintaining possession. Our defenders have been playing really well – Johnson Min, Christopher Dah, Juan Arevalo Morataya and Teh Way Soe. Those guys dont get enough credit for all they do on the pitch for us.
Watertowns goals came in the 35th and 60th minutes of play. Eh Ja Beh Win had six saves in goal for the Tigers.
Watertown also won the JV game, 4-0.
