Wessington Springs 61, Faulkton Area 24
WESSINGTON SPRINGS Wessington Springs cruised to a 61-24 victory against Faulkton Area during its season opener on Thursday.
Parker Graff led the way for the Spartans with 17 points. Colby Flowers had 14 points and grabbed a team-high 17 rebounds, while Karter Mebius also reached double figures with 12 points.
Wesley Molnar tallied team highs with six steals and four assists for Wessington Springs.
The Spartans are now off until Dec. 21, when they travel to face Howard in the only other contest they have before the holiday break.
