HITCHCOCK Three players reached double figures to help Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, which is ranked No. 3 in Class B, to a 61-28 victory against Hitchcock-Tulare on Tuesday.
The Lady Blackhawks used a 13-3 run in the second quarter to take a 29-15 lead at the half.
Liz Boschee had 17 points, seven rebounds and eight steals to lead Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, which improved to 2-0. Kaylie Robinson had 15 points and five assists, while Alexa Goertz had 11 points and Addi Bartholow had eight points.
Katelyn Schroeder was the lone player to reach double figures for the Lady Patriots, with 14 points. Gracyn Bixler and Rebecca Huizenga finished with five and four points, respectively.

The Blackhawks outscored Hitchcock-Tulare 21-5 in the third quarter to carry a 51-30 lead into the final quarter.
Sam Baruth had a game-high 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Landon Jensen and Grant Edwards added 10 and nine points, respectively.
Devin Enander was the lone player to reach double figures for the Patriots, with 15 points. Deegan Moes had nine points, while Patrick Maynard added eight points.
