With a pair of wrestlers reaching championship matches, the Huron girls finished second in the Dan Pansch Girls Invitational on Saturday.
Aberdeen Central amassed 185 points to win the event, while the Tigers were second at 135. Brandon Valley was third at 118.5, followed by Chamberlain at 56 and Western Christian (Iowa) at 53.
Chalie Sah won an individual title for Huron at 107 pounds.
Sah pinned Kendall Clayton of Brandon Valley in 5:44 to win the championship.
Reva McGaugh was second for the Tigers at 114. She recorded a pair of pins to reach the title match, but was edged 5-4 by SageLynn Culley of Sioux Falls Roosevelt for the title.
Sep Jade Lyric Paw Gay at 100, Moo B Say at 120, Say Glay at 132, Baw Eh at 145 and Paolo Fernandez Fernandez at 165 were third for Huron, while Snow Wah at 107 and Aleshka Oyola-Rodriguez at 114 were fourth. Mya Shee was fifth at 100.
The Huron teams will travel to face Brookings at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
