Miller captures fifth spot at Hamlin Invite

HAYTI Miller finished fifth in the Hamlin Invite on Saturday.

The Rustlers opened the tournament with a 2-1 victory against the host team.

Miller won the opening set 25-23, before Hamlin answered with a 29-27 win. The Rustlers secured the win with a 25-23 win in the third set.

Castlewood used back-to-back set scores of 25-21 to had Miller just its third loss of the season in the second match.

The Rustlers rebounded with a 2-0 victory against Sisseton to claim fifth place with set scores of 25-11 and 25-7.

Miller hosted Redfield on Tuesday.
