CFI partners with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 25 beds

The Center for Independence celebrated 50 years of supporting people with IDD. In celebrating 50 years, they chose to give back in a meaningful way and partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 25 beds for children in the Huron and surrounding communities that do not have a bed. CFI staff made quilts, donated sheets, and pillows for all 25 beds. So when the child receives their new bed, they get a bed built and donated by staff at CFI. It was a great day working with all the Volunteers that showed up to assist that day. CFI says giving back to our community is what it’s all about and they were honored to support local children and families.
