HURON — Huron’s seventh- and eighth-grade boys’ basketball teams faced Mitchell on Thursday
Seventh-grade
Mitchell recorded the sweep against the Huron seventh graders.
The Kernels escaped with a 42-39 win in the A-game.
Oakley Korkow led the Tigers with 23 points. Max Bartholow had six points, while Logan Goehner and Austin Soward each had four points.
Mitchell pulled out a 31-28 win in the B-game.
Dah Si had 13 points for Huron,w hile Beckett Teveldal had 10 points.
The Kernels cruised to a 41-15 victory in the C-game.
Dylan Wilself had six points for the Tigers, while Clayton Mattke and Parker Ashbaugh each had four points.
Eighth-grade
The lone victory for Huron came in the C-game. The Tigers claimed a 21-16 win.
Jameson Htoo had five points for Huron, whle Charleston Wachter and Geyson Watson each had four points.
Mitchell won the A-game 42-15.
Greysen Gregerson had 12 points for the Tigers.
The Kernels claimed a 31-23 win in the B-game.
Oliver Steele and Noah Carr had 10 and seven points, respectively, for Huron.
