All-Stars win Pee Wee B state title

HURON — The Huron All-Stars won the title during the Pee Wee B State Tournament, which concluded Sunday at Bergman Arena.

The second-seeded All-Stars defeated top-seeded Brandon Valley 3-1 in the championship game on Sunday.

Ben Larson, Knox Jans and Bentley Reimer had goals for Huron. Reimer had an assist.

Emerson Bronson earned the win in the net with nine saves.

The All-Stars defeated Yankton 9-6 in the semifinals on Saturday.

Reimer earned a hat trick with three goals for Huron. Jans and Jaxson VanOverschelde each had a pair of goals, while Kellen Solem and Ben Larson each had a goal.

Assists went to Leo Sarvis, Andrew Fuerst, Larson and Reimer.

Bronson stopped 14 of the 20 shots he faced from the Miracle to earn the win for All-Stars.

Huron opened the tournament with a 3-1 victory against the Sioux Falls Girls.

Scoring goals for the All-Stars were Larson, Solem and VanOverschelde. Reimer, Joel Bluer and Larson had assists.

Bronson had 10 saves in the game.
