A tree was planted on Friday by Beadle County Veterans Council, American Legion Post 7, and VFW with the help of Parks and Recreation in honor of America’s 250th birthday.
The tree is a Sienna Glen Maple from East River Nursery and was planted at Campbell Park by the bandshell.
