HURON — Dave and Tonya Carlson of Huron have been named to positions with the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series for the 2026 season.
After dealing with some eye issues, it was announced earlier that Dave would be leaving the seat of his long-time late model ride for a bit.
Dave will now serve as the series race director for the 26-race series, while Tonya will handle the nightly social media duties for the series.
The Tri-State Late Model Series begins its 2026 campaign on Friday at Par Jefferson Speedway. The series will have events at Dakota State Fair Speedway on June 4 and 6 in conjunction with Wheel Jam.
The series will also have stops at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen on June 5 and July 24-25, while having a show at Casino Speedway in Watertown on Aug. 22.
