SOUTHFIELD, Mich. Diana Kay (Krutzfeldt) Heikkinen, age 78, of Southfield, Mich,, formerly of Virgil, S.D., passed away on May 21, 2025, at Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Southfield.
Her graveside services and interment will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron.
She was born on April 22, 1947, in Virgil to the late Merle and Alvina (Brenner) Krutzfeldt.
The family moved to Detroit, Mich., in the mid-1950s, where Diana later met and married Allan Paul Heikkinen on July 3, 1965. Diana attended and completed Beauty School with her sister, Janice, and the two sisters worked together for many years at various beauty salons.
One of Dianas favorite pastimes was having frequent hours-long telephone conversations with good friends, neighbors, and family members. She also loved watching movies and listening to music.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Kristen, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded by her parents, her sister, and her husband.
