BOURBON, Mo. — Arnold W. Holzerland, 80, of Bourbon, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 14, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rolla, Mo. Interment will follow in Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Mo. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Arnold Walter Holzerland was born December 19, 1937, near Waubay to Eric and Minnie Holzerland.
During his 80 plus years, he was a farmer near Waubay, served his country in the Army, attended South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, South Dakota State University and graduated from Concordia University in Neb. as a Lutheran School teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ulrich; children, Rev. Timothy (Kimberly) Holzerland of Detroit, Mich., Lydia Holzerland of Galesburg, Mich., and David (Julie) Holzerland of Rolla, Mo.; three grandchildren; sister, Marlys Green of Cresbard; numerous sisters-and-brothers-in-law; and lots of friends.
Arnie was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law, Claude Green, and Robert Ulrich.
