Highmore-Harrold 74, Hitchcock-Tulare 44
HITCHCOCK — The Highmore-Harrold Pirates raced to a 42-20 halftime lead and coasted home with a 74-44 281 Conference boys’ basketball win over the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots Tuesday night.
Treymaine Eagle Thunder Alger netted 23 points to lead the Pirates, who improve to 9-7 with the win.
Dylan McDowell scored 14 points, Jharret Bloomenrader added 13 and snared a game-high 17 rebounds, while Ron Poynter chipped in 10 points.
Zach Binger scored 20 points and Ty Hofer added 10 points and eight boards for the Patriots, who fall to 5-11.
Hitchcock-Tulare will travel to Iroquois on Thursday.
Highmore-Harrold will host Sanborn Central-Woonsocket on Friday.

Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 51, Iroquois 25
WOONSOCKET — The Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Blackhawks broke open a one-point game with a 20-6 second quarter Tuesday night, en route to a 51-25 win over the Iroquois Chiefs in 281 Conference boys’ basketball action.
Jared Goldammer scored 14 points and hauled down 10 rebounds in the game for the Blackhawks, who break a two-game losing streak and improve to 12-4, while Noah Dickson had 11 points and 11 boards.
Iroquois got six points each from Gavin Machtemes and Keistan Dubro and Machtemes also had eight rebounds on the night. Iroquois falls to 3-12 with the loss.

Iroquois will host Hitchcock-Tulare on Thursday night, while the Blackhawks are on the road to Highmore-Harrold on Friday.

WOONSOCKET — The Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Blackhawks opened up a double-digit lead after one quarter and continued to build on it to take a 60-17 281 Conference girls’ basketball win from the Iroquois Lady Chiefs Tuesday night.
Abby Doering had 15 points for the Blackhawks to lead all scorers in the game. Megan Poyer added eight points and had four assists.
Jorja Huls had eight points and Allie Diehl had a game-high nine rebounds for Iroquois.
Sanborn Central-Woonsocket, now 9-8, will travel to Highmore-Harrold on Friday night, while Iroquois, still winless at 0-17, will host Hitchcock-Tulare on Thursday night.

CLARK — Clark-Willow Lake connected for 13 three-point field goals en route to a 63-42 victory against Tiospa Zina on Tuesday.
Janae Kolden had five 3-point field goals en route to 17 points for the Cyclones, while Taylor Hartley had four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points. Charity Kabwe also reached double figures with 11 points, which included a trio of 3-pointers.
Abbie Bratland had a team-high six rebounds for Clark-Willow Lake.
Hailey Shepherd led Tiospa Zina with 15 points, while Jordyn LaBlanc added 11 points.
