COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Betty Fink, 78, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and formerly of Ree Heights, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the University of Colorado Health at Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, Colo. surrounded by family.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 25, at the Ree Heights Auditorium with Pastor Sheena Thomson officiating. Burial will follow at the Morningside Cemetery in Ree Heights.
Betty was born March 9, 1939, in Miller to Howard and Grace (Williams) Beck. She graduated from high school at Ree Heights in 1957. She was united in marriage to Norman Fink of Delmont. In 1963, the family moved to Farmington, N. M. where she continued to live until 2012, when she moved to Colorado Springs to live with her son.
She worked at the First National Bank of Miller. After her divorce, she worked full time at admissions at San Juan College in Farmington, N. M. until she took a job as an archivist at the City of Farmington working there until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Calvin Fink of Colorado Springs, Colo.; stepson, Calvery Hogue of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Delton Beck of Ree Heights; and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Michelle Fink; parents; her sister, Ellen Jones; and her brother, Dean Beck.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Betty’s arrangements.
