HURON — The Chester Area Flyers are headed to the Class “B” State volleyball tournament.
The Flyers, who finished second at last year’s state tournament, dominated the Timber Lake Panthers 3-0 in a 2-seed versus 15-seed match Tuesday afternoon at Huron Arena. Set scores for Chester Area were 25-10, 25-13 and 25-16.
Jaden Wages registered 13 kills, and Makenna Larson added 11 for the Flyers, who will head to the State “B” with a season record of 25-4.
Hailey Ewoldt handed out 37 assists in the game, while Hanna Reiff and Larson accounted for 22 and 20 digs, respectively.
