WINNER — Elleanor Ella Wilken, 90, of Winner, passed away Sunday April 21, 2019, at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls.
Her memorial service will be 10:30a.m., Saturday, April 27, at the Mason Funeral Home in Winner. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
Elleanor was born May 7, 1928, in Wagner to Levi and Tillie Thaler Nedved. She grew up on the family farm south of Wagner. She was united in marriage to Robert Weidner June 26, 1949, and to this union six children were born. Robert passed away in 1977. She married Alvin Wilken August 4, 1984. They were very involved in the American Legion.
She is survived by sons, Ron (Mavis), Dean (Karla), and Allen (Judy); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, June Kinder, and Geraldine (George) Krsnek; and several nieces; nephews; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert and Alvin; children, Rodney, Ricky, and Deb; brother, Raymond; great-grandson, Cody; a nephew; and her four-legged companion, Tigger.
