The Huron Hockey Association held its awards banquet on Tuesday at the Huron Events Center.
Shown first, Dave Peterson of Huron, left, receives the Friend of Hockey award from HHA president Dan Wehde.
Next, from left, Josiah Savery was named Most Improved Defense for the boys’ varsity team. Kent Sawada (not pictured), an exchange student from Japan, was named as the Most Improved Offense; Paige Snyder was named Most Improved Defense for the girls junior varsity team; and Izabel Casper was named Most Improved Defense for girls’ U14 team.
