HURON — It’s going to be cold outside, but it’s going to be a day of basketball indoors today at Huron Arena.
The final day of both the boys’ and girls’ 281 Conference Tournaments begins at 9 a.m. this morning with the 7th-place game in the girls’ tournament, featuring Iroquois and Sunshine Bible Academy. Games are set to tip every hour and a half throughout the day.
The opener will be followed by the boys’ 7th place game between Wessington Springs and Sunshine. The girls’ 5th place game will see James Valley Christian taking on Wessington Springs.
The boys’ fifth place game (Hitchcock-Tulare vs. Iroquois) will be followed by the girl’s 3rd place matchup of Wolsey-Wessington and Highmore-Harrold. The boys’ 3rd place game between Wolsey-Wessington and Highmore-Harrold, will be followed by the girls’ championship game between Sanborn Central-Woonsocket and Hitchcock-Tulare. The boys’ title game between James Valley Christian and Sanborn Central-Woonsocket will wrap things up.
