HURON — After scoring three runs in the opening inning, Huron went on to record a 4-1 victory against Castlewood-Deuel in a spring baseball matchup Sunday at Klock Field.
The victory gave the Tigers a split in two games, as Madison inked a 10-0 win against them earlier in the day.
Dawsyn Rogers turned in a complete-game performance on the mound for Huron. He had nine strikeouts.
The Tigers finished with five hits in the game. Castlewood-Deuel had four hits.
Johnny Hernandez and Hayden Kane each had an RBI for Huron.
