Jeffrey Airheart, 25, of Wessington

WESSINGTON — Jeffrey Airheart, 25, of Wessington, died as the result of an automobile accident Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the Avera McKennan Hospital at Sioux Falls. 
His funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 3, at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, at the Kuhler Funeral Home with his family present from 5 to 7 p.m.  A prayer service and time of sharing will begin at 7 p.m.
Jeffrey Charles Airheart was born August 22, 1992, in Glendive, Mont. Jeffrey was the son of Joseph Airheart and Kathy (Andrick) Airheart. He grew up in New Underwood, S.D., and graduated from New Underwood High School in 2010. Jeffrey attended Dakota State University in Madison. After college Jeffrey went to work for South Dakota Wheat Growers as an Agronomy Warehouse Operator, and was excited to start down a new path with his career by recently accepting a position as a Precision Ag Associate in Bath.
From a very early age Jeffrey loved to live life to the fullest, never backing away from a challenge especially one that came with a bet. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew, oftentimes seen on the sidelines coaching them on. Jeffrey loved hunting, fishing, and spending time on the family farm, helping out wherever he could.
Throughout his schools years, Jeffrey was involved in wrestling, football, basketball, FFA, 4H, youth rodeo, and band. Jeffrey never had a hard time making new friends. He enjoyed playing poker, darts, pool, and video games with friends and family.
Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Kathy (Andrick) Airheart of Rapid City, and Joseph (Arline) Airheart of Kalispell, Mont.; his siblings, Rachael Airheart of Colorado Springs, Colo., Joseph (Tasha) Airheart and their children, Aiden, Rylee, and Brelynn of Huron, and Rhonda (Kyle) Berger of Audubon, Minn. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jay and Frances Airheart, and Charles and Edna Andrick.
