Juanita Lueth, 97, of Huron

HURON — Juanita Lueth, 97, of Huron, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018, at her home. 
Her life will be celebrated with a service at 11a.m., Saturday, February 24, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. A visitation with her family present will be one hour prior to her service.
Juanita Maria Stam was born July 10, 1920, at Sioux City, Iowa to Hiram Austin and Mary Irene (Cox) Stam. She graduated from Huron High School in 1938, and then earned a business degree from the Northwestern College of Commerce.
She was united in marriage to Forrest (Bud) Martin Lueth April 17, 1941. The couple lived in the Seattle Wash. area where she worked for the Federal Government most of her life. She moved back to Huron to be closer to family.
She is survived by her sisters, Darleen Ames of Huron, Shirleen King of Jacksonville, N.C., and Rose Crenshaw of Hattiesburg, Miss.; nieces, Jill (Kevin) Minske of Huron, and Susan Langham of Jacksonville, N.C.; nephews, Michael (Susan) King of Colorado Springs, Colo., Danny (Christy) King of Wilmington, N.C., Martin John Ames of Huron, and Tom (Deb) Ames of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and niece, Elizabeth Ames Richeson.
Memorials may be directed to the Beadle County Humane Society.
