HUNTLEY, Ill. — Kay L. (Smith) Rogers, 72, of Huntley, Ill. passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at her home in Huntley, Ill.
There will be a private burial.
Kay L. Smith was born December 20, 1945, in Huron, to George and Etta Smith. She graduated from Bancroft High School in 1963. She was united in marriage to Thad Rogers December 28th, 1968, in Iroquois. Shortly thereafter, the couple moved to the Northwest Suburban area of Chicago, Ill, where they lived for almost 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Thad of Huntley, Ill.; and her sister, Cheryl Boutrid, of Raliegh N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Etta Smith formerly of Bancroft and Sioux Falls; and her brother, Keith Smith of Apple Valley, Minn.
