HURON — Kyle R. Thompson, 37, of Huron, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, near Anoka, Minn., due to an automobile accident.
His memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Welter Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Kyle Ray Thompson was born on November 11, 1983 to parents Robert King and Vickie Thompson. He grew up in Huron, attending Huron schools and graduating from Huron High School. Kyle worked for DM&E and RC&P railroad as a brakeman.
Kyle loved his children and spending time with them. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, golfing and hunting.
He is survived by his parents, Vickie Thompson and Robert King of Huron; his children, Rylee Thompson of Sioux Falls, Gracee and Olivia Thompson of Huron; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Diane (Quiram) Thompson and Eldred King and Bernadette Estes.
