Linda Kolousek, 68, of rural Wessington Springs

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Linda Kolousek, 68, of rural Wessington Springs, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.  
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday November 15, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wessington Springs. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Crow Lake. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Linda May Brodkorb was born October 26, 1949, in Wessington Springs to George and Virginia (Fitzgerald) Brodkorb. The family moved to Wessington Springs in 1953. She attended the rural schools of Barber, Fauston and Pleasant View and graduated from Wessington Springs High School in 1967.
She graduated with an AS degree from Presentation College in Aberdeen and worked a long career as an RN at Weskota Memorial Hospital retiring in 2017. She was united in marriage to Robert Kolousek February 15, 1992. She was a member of Templeton United Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Amy, Chanda and Maurita; six grandchildren;  sisters,  Rose (Lawrence) Carson, Deana (Barry Bailey) Brodkorb, Vickie Brodkorb; aunt, Ruth Bult; and her nieces, nephews, and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Wanda Whitney, and Mark Brodkorb; grandparents, W.F and Cora Fitzgerald, and August and Ella Brodkorb.
