REDFIELD — Linda Kay Pickar, 65, of Redfield, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen.
Linda’s wish was to be cremated with no formal services.
Linda Kay Boschee was born January 23, 1953, in Mansfield to Henry and Audrey Boschee. She was united in marriage to James Pickar in 1975, at Redfield where she lived much of her life.
She loved her family very much. She will be remembered for her kind heart and that the word “no” was not part of her vocabulary. She enjoyed going to garage sales and had a special place in her heart for her cat.
She is survived by her husband, James, of Redfield; mother, Audrey Boschee of Mellette; her special cat, Bubbles; five daughters, Tammy (Duane) Pekarski of Redfield, Gail (Don) Amitrano of Aurora, Minn., Tess (Lee) Yada of Redfield, Jennie Pickar of Redfield, and Jamie Ferguson of Redfield; grandchildren, Mercedes Yada, Lilly Pekarski, Theresa DeVries, Haley (Cody Bob) DeJong, and Jeremy Joseph Perrault; great-granddaughter, Raylynn Rose Bob; siblings, Glenda (Curtis) Manz, Ace Boschee, and Kevin Boschee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry; sons-in-law, Kenny Winterberg, and Tommy Mace; and her great-granddaughter, Carter Lynn Bob.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hyke Funeral Home of Redfield.
