MADISON — Lulu Lucille Anderson, 98, of Madison, formerly of Howard, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Madison Care & Rehab. Center.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, at Beach United Methodist Church of Howard with burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery at Howard. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Willoughby Funeral Home of Howard.
Lulu Lucille Zimmermann was born December 27, 1919, near Fedora to Walter and Everal (Fox) Zimmermann. She graduated from Fedora High School in 1935, received a teaching certificate from Eastern Normal State College, and a BS degree from Dakota State College. She was united in marriage to Norman Anderson March 22, 1941. She was a member of many organizations and Beach United Methodist Church.
She is survived by children, Carolyn (Winston) Genzlinger, Greg (Marianna) Anderson, Leon (Marsha) Anderson, Larry (Diana) Anderson, LuAnn (Jerry) Rice, Rochele (Randy) Bahm; special friend, Cody Dawson, and Debbie Anderson; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; four and a half great-great-grandchildren; and other family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; son Nolan; grandson, Adam Genzlinger; siblings, Marvin, Doris, Arthur, Florence, Carl, Norma and Ruth.
