HURON — Mrs. Alfred (Jean) Neiffer, 87, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the SunQuest Healthcare Center.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Merna Jean Zwanziger was born August 9, 1931, to Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Zwanziger. Se was united in marriage to Alfred Neiffer September 24, 1950.
She worked at Walkers Flower Shop and APC Construction. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary, the Rebecca’s, Circle 6, the Senior Center and was secretary for the BPW.
She is survived by her husband, Al; children, Colleen (George) Kenas of Ontario, Calif., Karen (Dennis) Maggi of Somerset, Pa., David Neiffer, Susan Munion both of Huron, and Jennifer (CJ) Cayford of Mount Dora, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Murray, Myron, Monty Zwanziger, Merva Sage, and Melva Zuckor.
She was preceeded in death by two grandchildren, Steven DeLong, and Jonathan Maggi.
