MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., — Nicholas J. Karras, 101, of Minneapolis Minn., passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at his residence.
He is survived by his children, Dimitra Karras, and Christopher (Ruth) Karras; grandchildren, Nicola (Will) Wilson, and Elena (Peter) Chiappa; great-grandchildren, Theodora, Florence, and Verity; and a brother, George Karras.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Panayota.
A special thanks to the staff at Walker Place and Allina Hospice for their loving care, as well as Father George and Father Jason for their kindness.
Private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
