Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds standout Lynden Williams signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Northern State University and play football for Wolves coach Tom Dosch. Williams is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and is slated to play in the defensive backfield at NSU. His senior season he rushed for 2,088 yards, caught passes for another 480 yards and scored 24 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 107 tackles, two sacks and blocked a pair of punts. Dosch said “Lynden has been a key part of Wolsey-Wessington’s success the past three seasons. His versatility, toughness and game-changing skills will make him a great fit at safety.”
Williams is pictured at the table with his mom, Arynne Williams. Standing in the back are his father, Lorenzo Williams, left, and Wolsey-Wessington coach Gordon Hooks.
